Have you booked your real estate photoshoot and want tips to prepare your home?
Read below:
Clean off Countertops
Close toilet lids
Turn OFF ceiling fans and put any floor fans in a closet
Open curtains / blinds.
Make sure there are working bulbs in light fixtures.
Declutter and depersonalize with photos/names, etc. that you don't want to show in the photos
Closets, unfinished areas, or storage sheds will not be photographed unless it is requested.
Make sure to send the lock box code and best way to enter the house (front door, back door, or garage)If the owner/client can leave the home during the shoot, it will help me be the most efficient. The 3D virtual tour will capture every part of the home and yard, a full 360 degrees in one shot. If pets or people are trying to move from room to room as I am photographing, they are likely to show up in the photos or 3D tour. It can also be distracting to the photographer, which increases the time it takes to photograph the home. If the owner/client prefers to stay that's ok, just be prepared to stay in an area of the home so as not to be in any of the shots.
